Mission Statement

Primary Mission: The Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots shall provide at no cost to Virginia public schools K-12 sustained instructional enrichment of specific Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) in history and social sciences by way of, but not limited to, living historical interpretations in period dress, advocating principles of leadership and civics, to augment and enrich textbook and classroom instruction and aid in reducing a 30% benchmark failure rate in history and social sciences or civics, reinforcing the requisite knowledge and skills for informed, responsible participation in public life and develops a basic understanding of good citizenship by instilling relevant skills for students to deal intelligently with controversy.

Secondary Mission: To educate the general public and other organizations about history and social sciences, to include, but not limited to, military history, personalities, and culture at various historical venues for living history and related programs.

The Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots shall be a valuable partner in the augmentation of public school education and strives to develop next generation leaders emphasizing history and social sciences (civics) in Virginia public schools K-12. .
