Mission Statement

Primary Mission: The Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots shall provide at no cost to Virginia public schools K-12 sustained instructional enrichment of specific Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) in history and social sciences by way of, but not limited to, living historical interpretations in period dress, advocating principles of leadership (civics), to augment and enrich textbook and classroom instruction.

Secondary Mission: To educate the general public and other organizations about history and social sciences, to include, but not limited to, military history, personalities, and culture at various historical venues for living history and related programs.

Vision Statement

To reduce an average forty percent failure rate among students in Spotsylvania County in history and social sciences, to gain a greater student interest in history, and develop fundamental civics as young leaders.
